  1. Is it possible to name one city as the best place to live? San Diego has it all. The best weather, a place in the sun, and a lifestyle that you will want to live. I will state my case that "America's Finest City", San Diego, California is without question the best place to live in the United States of America.
Besides Australia, where can you enjoy the beach in November?
Any time of the year is a good time to enjoy being with your partner and when you are together in San Diego you can enjoy the ocean, the bay, or a lake. Ok, we don't have a river in town, but you can drive to the Colorado river, so where is "The Best Place to Live"? San Diego, of course.

I know that I want to live in Crimea.I really love this place, but even Simferopol is too loud for me...I love quiet and peace, I dream about a house closer to Crimean mountians, but, I'm sure that maybe in 10 years or maybe even less my opinion will be changed by some pressure, just bc people change.
I dream to live in the capital of India, New Dehli, in london,in some small Spanish town and maybe in St Petersburg, one the most beutiful cities in the world. It's just a short list of places I want to live in.

  3. Sevastopol is the best place for me to live. and I don't want to leave it, ever. But I understand that we sometimes have to forget about our dreams and wishes to do the right thing. (But I really hope that it won't be necessary for me).
Talking about best place to live. Who's Thought It, Texas! Oh yes, that's it. If I had a second life, I don't want it to be dull! And in such place as Texas it can't be boring! Oh, just hear how it sounds - Texas! I know what you're are thinking, but I'm not going nuts!(I just haven't been to Texas yet).

  4. I have never thought that some American towns have such 'peculiar' names. I guess it is quite exciting to reside in those places. Actually, names with negative meanings such as Dismal, Moron, Hell, Satan's Kingdom, seem to me even more vivid and remarkable. 'Welcome to Hell' sounds cute, doesn't it? I am curious about etymology of these names. Surely one should not take them literally (I don't think that Moron just swarms with morons). Besides, the names Egg and Whynot impressed me a lot. I would definitely choose the latter to live in. I tend to use the phrase 'Why not?' quite often. I do believe it's a special meaningful remark (as well as the allusion to Timothy Leary's last words). So, that's the reason.

  5. I agree with Olga.
'Welcome to Hell', it's really cool and funny :)
I wonder why these town called in such way. Probably, there are some reasons or it's a joke to attract people!
Also, the name Double Trouble seems to be very heavy!
I want to live in America or in England, or somewhere else. Actually, there are a lot of places I want to visit.
If I had a choice where to live I would choose Frankenstein or Hell :)

  6. I couldn't believe that there are such many unusual names exist. I would like to live in Disco, Tennessee. I think it's a cute name for city. And if I never have been there before, I want to go there immediately to see it. In my imagination, this is the place, that doesn't look like any another city. Maybe there the most popular DJs and musicians live. Also there are many clubs, bars and other places for parties. I believe it's a positive hotbed of music, dancers and lots of drinks)))

  8. Oh, this list of funny places makes me smile. I've known that there are many peculiar names of cities in the world, but frankly speaking, I couldn't even imagine that somewhere people live in the city called Hell or Satan's Kindom or Monster. I wonder how they feel like?
Also I couldn't but enjoy the hamlet in Canada called Punkeydoodles Corners. It sounds extremely funny and bizarre.
Apart from this, I like cities hat are called Whynot and Who's thought it. It seems to me that peole who live in the latter city continuously think and ponder over something)) and peole who live in Whynot are really reckless and enjoy living in full swing.
As for me, I'd rather choose the Califotnian city called Cool though I'm pretty sure that no matter how your citty is called, the main is how you feel yourself there. I'm convinced that if you have positive frame of mind and you're optimistic you'll be happy everywhere and even in Hell.

  9. "Rest and Be Thankful" good name for city! Its interesting, how people live there??? I think they are happy, because the city named like this can't be bad, and the people, who live there feel themselfs very well. I think, I can live everywhere, if my family always be with me. Even now, I live here, in Simferopol, I can't be calmly, because my mother not here.

  10. I suspect that the place`s name influences on a life there in some ways. It`s like the name of person influences on it`s owner. But frankly, I doubt if all dwellers of Rest and Be Thankful are much more happier then Accident`s dwellers.
Of course I wouldn`t like to live in Double Trouble or smth like that.
Some place`s name I really liked like Hot Coffee or Sweet Lips, they really sound nice and tempting!
As for me I`ve already visited some places, so I can answer where I`d like to live and where I wouldn`t.Anyway I want to travel around the world and maybe then say,"It`s perfect place for me to live in."But now I only can say that I`d prefer to live in Prague or London, bacause their lifestyle and atmosphere suit to me, I like big cities, green parks, feeling of freedom and actions every minute!
But it is believed in our society that a person had to live in a native land, but I disagree with this statement, I guess every body can live where he feels happier,no matter if it is New York,Madagaskar or even tiny island in an ocean!

  11. I am a patriot of my town. I love Sevastopol very much. It is not the best place in the world because we have a low level of life. To my mind I am too attached to my family. It is very difficult to live abroad without support. I like travelling and in copliance with this my dream is to visit France and USA. Also, I would like to have my own flat in these towns.

  12. This quite unusual note aroused my interest and I decided to search more information about it. I came across a lot of funny names' towns in America. I could not believe the name of some of these towns. The strange thing about them is not the names but the people that would decide to live there. Can you only imagine telling someone that you live in Uncertain, Texas? Or let's send a telegraph to Telegraph, TX or make a phone call to Telephone, TX. Seriously? But despite of this all, I would like to visit these places. Having breakfast in Oatmeal, Texas, and lunch in Sandwich, Massachusetts, and dessert in Pie Town, New Mexico... Then welcome to Loveladies, New Jersey, where it seemed that all the women were trying to get to Husband, Pennsylvania... It would be quite funny journey!

  13. I have been abroad twice. The first city I've visited was Madrid, Spain. I really liked it. It was extremely beautiful. I'll never forget this place. My second travelling experience was Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It was like a fairy tail. I was amased by it's huge modern buildings, situated in the middle of the desert. We spent there a couple of weeks and it was unforgettable. When I was abroad, I thought I'd like to stay there for the rest of my life, but after some days of fun and joy I felt homesick. Then I understood, that my native land is the best place in the world, despite all it's negative points. I'm really keen on travelling, but as the proverb says "Home, sweet home".
