This video is both informative and creative! I liked it very much! Last year, when I was on the 2d course, on the lessons of history of English we were talking about the developing of english language...our teacher gave us a good peace of information...but it wasn`t made in a funny way. I would point out that basically that piece of information which is more creative, unusual or made in a funny way is easier to understand and keep in mind. For instance, I remember several of those words that were mantioned in the movie and I believe that it is much better then not to remember anything. Also it was one of the interesting moments, when there appeared a trunk...interesting, yes?... a trunk in 11th century...rather strange...isn`t it? also a King with a cigarette... Shakespeare...one of my favourite writers...stroke a blow for developing the english language as well as vocabulary(2000 words-it`s amazing!!), words like: Bible, besmirch,aligator, hob-nob and others. And finally I would like to add that a woman in the 6th chapter was the funniest one, that still kept in my mind... Thank you!
