And how do you share stories?

  1. The host presents his story with the some kind of theatrics which makes it more funny and impressive. As for me, I usually try to tell the stories in amusing way and sometimes people don't know whether I'm telling the truth or just making fun of them. Speaking about technology, it's popular now to create little movie stories. I fond of such way of expressing oneself.

  2. I didn't notice it, but.. the story telling can be in a way like an art. very interesting! as for me, I'm not a good story teller, I get distracted and easily can forget what I was talking about. but in the Internet for a while I've been noticing that recently people like to tell their stories, using gifs, little moving pictures, that were cut from popular movies or cartoons.

  3. Ted visually showed us the development of storytelling. Movies and pictures help us to assimilate any information better and if you add some vivid features into your presentation, your listeners would have a chance to remember the biggest part of your performance.

  4. I enjoyed the video on Ludwig Wittgenstein as it helped me reflect how I tell stories! It also help me appreciate the difference in speaking Russian and trying to improve my English. I have a friend from Michigan in the US who I met this summer in Sevastopol at the restaurant I worked at. As I tried to speak in English and tell Kurt (the name of my friend) I found it difficult to tell him stories and get the mean fully across to him. As we practiced communicating it became a little easier to for us both to tell some stories.
When I am with my girlfriends, we mostly share stories by talking and sharing experiences. I have also started to us Skype and find that I use the methods to also tell my stories to friends. My dream will be able to tell me stories by speaking English so that people understand me. ( Берёза)

Now we can't imagine our life without Internet where we can read and watch everything.I personally like different kinds of reels, clips and presentations.

  7. I like this video, good way of presentation. But I payed more attention to the idea of them – everything is changes. The mankind regular tries to invent something new and who knows, what technological advances will be after 100 years more! Our great-grandchildren will know.=)))

  8. I really liked it. This video showed us clearly the history of the storytelling. The humanity is constantly developing given us new high technologies. These devices make our life easily. We can express all we want; we can find and show everything. But earlier people didn’t have such opportunity, and it was difficult for them to create their speeches, presentations and so on. So I think our generation is the generation of the modern time, and we are glad to communicate and get the information by different means.

  9. I like the way he shares story. It is creative and in tune with the times. As for me, I’m not a good story teller. I’ll tell you more, I’m the bad one. I can't even tell a funny story or retell a movie to my friends. And the biggest fear for me is to stand in front of audience and tell something. Back to my childhood, I was the best story teller, but something happened to me. Hence I make efforts to improve.
