So where is Wales? First let’s ________, its not in England. This distinction is not only correct, it is ________ important to the Welch. Wales is a part of Great Britain along with Scotland and England. The UK or United Kingdom includes the countries of Great Britain as well as Northern Ireland.

Isolated ________ discovery showed there were people in Wales 250 years ago. Monolithic monuments can be found along many the country road, ______ the memory of the ______ as they have for thousand of years. Around 600 BC the Celts began ______ in Wales where they ______ for 500 years until the arrival of the Romans. The ______ Celts were never really conquered; they were able to live side by side with the Romans, all the while preserving their language and traditions.

Like their ______, the Welsh today has ______ pride in their culture and on going resistance to the domination of their bigger stronger neighbors. They strive to secure their _____ and future as a separate nation to the localized government. A passion for their ______ is never afar from the surface.

A good place to start your trip in Wales is the bustling ______ capital city of Cardiff. The center piece of the city is the 12 century Cardiff castle.
